Vintage Farmhoues Cabinet, Commode in Oak Wood, 19th century Denmark 1850s

This mid-19th century buffet in oak and pinewood carries a quiet presence shaped by simple lines and hand-carved detail. Made in the 1850s, the cabinet stands on a scalloped base with carved fleur-de-lys motifs across the front doors and center drawer. The warm wood tones and natural grain give the piece a calm and honest feeling.

The proportions are compact while still offering generous storage behind the double doors and inside the drawers. A piece that works equally well in a farmhouse interior, a rustic home or a more minimal space needing warmth and texture. The later added handles fit naturally with the cabinet and allow easy everyday use.
