Danish Highback Oak Chairs by Henning Kjærnulf, 1960s, Set of 6
This set of six carved light oak ladder-back chairs, familiar to the "Razorblade" model, designed by Henning Kjærnulf. Crafted with solid oak frames, these chairs are both elegant and sturdy, blending a bold, sculptural look with functionality. The high backs and beautifully carved curves give them a distinctive presence, drawing from both Brutalist and Baroque styles, which are common in Kjærnulf's designs.
The fabric upholstery is in good condition / working order and are completely ready to use as they are right now. But the seats are easy to get reupholstered in any type of fabric, leather, or sheepskin for a customized look. Almost all of the chairs still bears signature sticker from retailer in Denmark. Original screws under the seats. These versatile chairs are a perfect addition to any modern or vintage-inspired home.
