Pair of Mid-Century Modern bedside tables, a prime example of the Brutalist-inspired design language popularized in the 1960s and 1970s. Attributed to the manner of Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf, the nightstands feature the distinctive heavy, architectural oak construction and ornate, turned legs that define his work.

Each table is crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak, displaying a beautiful grain and a warm, honey-toned patina. The inset ceramic tile tops are the focal point, showcasing intricate, hand-painted geometric patterns in a subtle palette of ochre, cream, and brown. These tiles provide a durable and highly decorative surface, characteristic of Danish high-quality craftsmanship from makers such as Ejsø Møbler.

Structurally sound and in very good vintage condition, these tables exhibit light wear consistent with their age, adding to their authentic mid-century character. Their compact scale and bold aesthetic make them versatile additions to any sophisticated interior, serving perfectly as end tables or as a tiered arrangement.
