This high-back Danish lounge chair was crafted in Denmark during the 1960s and carries clear references to the sculptural Brutalist and Baroque-inspired designs associated with Henning Kjærnulf. Executed in solid oak with its original Savak wool upholstery, the chair combines strong architectural lines with a warm and inviting expression.

The tall wingback silhouette, carved oak details, and decorative brass studs create a bold yet refined presence. Upholstered in its original striped wool fabric, the chair has developed a rich vintage character while remaining fully functional and comfortable. The generous cushions feature an internal Epeda spring system in both seat and back, offering exceptional seating comfort and support.

The oak frame has aged beautifully with a warm natural patina, showing only light traces of use consistent with age. Structurally solid and stable throughout. Very good condition.

A striking statement piece suited for Scandinavian, Brutalist, or Scandifornian-inspired interiors, balancing Nordic craftsmanship with an earthy, relaxed atmosphere. Completely ready to use.
