A striking Danish oak armchair, Kurol chair, from the 1960s, executed in a bold Scandinavian Brutalist style and often attributed to the circle of Henning Kjærnulf. The sculptural silhouette, with its sweeping curved frame and throne-like presence, gives the chair a strong architectural character while remaining elegant and inviting.

Crafted from solid oak with a beautifully aged patina, the chair highlights the lively grain and warm tone of the wood. The curved arms and crossed base add depth and craftsmanship, paired with decorative brass studs and striped wool upholstery in deep red tones. Structurally solid and stable with no loose joints.

The chair works beautifully as a statement lounge chair, hallway piece, or end chair at a dining table alongside Scandinavian Modern interiors. Upholstery can be renewed upon request for an additional fee.

All pieces are reviewed in our warehouse and are cleaned, treated carefully and structurally solid.
