Set of Vintage Danish Antique 18th century Lounge Chairs, style of Louis XV

This elegant set of four hand-carved and decorated wooden rococo Lounge Chairs from the mid-18th century embody that timeless French elegance. They are reminiscent of a classic French armchair, though these have been crafted and produced in Denmark during the mid 1800s up until 1900, in a time when Danish designers turned to their French colleagues for inspiration. The Chairs feature a curved back with intricate carvings, cabriole legs, and a curved apron adorned with Louis XV floral motifs. The graceful scroll feet and overall design make it a perfect fit for a French provincial or Hamptons-style home.

The velvet upholstery is in near-perfect condition, incredibly soft and light, offering a beautiful contrast to the deep color of the wood.
